What a year it's been so far at the Storm Youth Championships!
From first-time winners to youth athletes chasing records and unforgettable moments with friends and family, the 2026 SYC season has already brought so much energy to the lanes. One of the coolest parts about SYC is watching bowlers grow over time and this season has been a perfect example of that.
One of the biggest storylines this year belongs to Anna Antony. Anna picked up another title at the first SYC of the season and is now tied with Gianna Brandolino for the all-time SYC record with 16 career SYC titles. We heard she may have celebrated with an ice cream sundae on the famous Las Vegas Boulevard!
Another fun fact from the season is that we've only had two repeat champions so far this year: Stevie Newton and Alyssa Randisi. Stevie has already captured three SYC titles this season and now sits at 12 career SYC titles overall, continuing her chase toward the all-time record. Alyssa won back-to-back titles in February and March and now has 8 SYC titles. Watching these athletes continue to grow and compete at such a high level has been one of the highlights of the year so far.
These events are always about something bigger than bowling. In addition to the friendships you make along the way, thanks to the incredible support of our SYC families and community, we have raised nearly $5,000 already in support of Ballard vs. The Big C and Make-A-Wish Utah. Together, we're helping support those fighting cancer and granting wishes for Utah children facing critical illnesses throughout the year.
On a side note, have you heard the PBA Tour call this year the "Year of the Rookie?" We've been following along and it's been exciting to watch former SYC champions find success on the PBA Tour. Past SYC Champions, Spencer Robarge, Brandon Bonta, and Alex Horton all captured titles on the PBA Tour during their rookie seasons this year. They join Jillian Martin who has found success both in college and on the PWBA Tour already. She's gearing up to join the PWBA Tour full-time this year.
Moments like these are a reminder that the SYC is more than just a tournament. It's a place where young bowlers learn how to compete, grow, build confidence, and prepare for future opportunities in college bowling and on the PBA and PWBA Tours.

Looking Ahead
As we head into the rest of the summer, we're excited for even more opportunities to compete, learn, and grow together as a community.
Whether you become a champion, make a new friend, learn something new about your game, or simply have fun competing and traveling with your family to a new place, that's what the SYC is all about.
Thank you to all of the bowlers, parents, coaches, bowling centers, volunteers, and fans who continue to make the Storm Youth Championships such a special place. We'd also like to congratulate all of the bowlers graduating high school or aging out of youth bowling this year. We are excited to see what's next for you!
We can't wait to see you at the next SYC event! View the full season here.
