BRIGHAM CITY, Utah – The Oregon Bowler’s Association kicks off their 2022-23 season with their first event this weekend at Kingpins PDX in Portland, Oregon. The OBA will have a full schedule of 11 events from August of 2023 to May of 2024 throughout Oregon and 2 stops in Washington for bowlers of the Northwest.

“As we enter our 2023/2024 season, we are grateful for the partnership from Storm Products Inc.”, newly appointed Tournament Director, Sean Daniels said. “The OBA is the longest running scratch tournament organization in the NW, providing premier competition open to all bowlers. Our tournaments run every second Sunday from August to April. You can find our schedule at www.obabowling.com. Our members benefit from a yearlong points race, with the top 24 bowlers getting an invite to our annual Grand Finals in May. All events in 2023/2024 will be contested on a pattern from the Kegel pattern library. The OBA has a rich tradition, and our champions range from PBA National Tour champions, PBA Regional champions, and outstanding local talent. Last year saw us crown our youngest champion at the age of 13 years old.”

Entering his first full year of being tournament director, Sean Daniels is looking to build upon the strong backbone of the organization. Tournament scoring for the OBA was moved to tournamentbowl.com last year and there are plans being created to bring live streaming to the events.

This season will be Storm’s 6th season of sponsorship with the OBA. For more information about the OBA, please visit their website, www.obabowling.com.
