I switched to no finger grips a few years ago to get cleaner at release based on advise from a HOF bowler that was crossing next to me at a PBA50 event. I struggled with losing rev rate but had definitely achieved a cleaner release. I found this tape and decided to give it a try. It literally gave me double my rev rate and back to where I was with grips but still clean at release.
