I grew up in Beaver, PA, about 40 miles from Pittsburgh. Since the age of 8, I played baseball in the summer and bowled in the winter. Bowling was #1 for me and at the age of 17, bowled my first perfect game. Baseball was fun, but I actually quit the high school baseball team when I was given an ultimatum from my boss at the bowling center. Fortunately the coach had a talk with my boss and they worked out my schedule. I was drafted by the SF Giants in the 1983 draft and had a 15 year major league career. After playing poker for 10 years, I got the itch to bowl again and decided to focus on the PBA50 Tour. I've been doing that ever since and loving every minute of it.
