As forgiving as it gets

Workable and forgiving, the C3 Centripetal Control Core is a design that revs up quickly, providing a smoother change of direction downlane. This shape is beneficial for players requiring control at the breakpoint. Used only in the !Q Tour series of balls, this core is precisely designed and manufactured using proprietary technology.

The R2S delivers a perfect balance

R2S is synonymous with some of the most successful balls in recent history like the Hy-Road, Frantic, and the IQ Tour. It is renowned for clearing the front part of the lane with an unprecedented movement on the backend. The consistency of this shell through the heads is something to be marveled at.

Still surprised at how great this ball is!
I have used several Storm bowling balls over the years, and this one is by far my favorite, with the pearl version being a distant second. This ball is smooth, consistent, and usable on a huge variety of oil conditions.

When I first looked at this ball back in 2012, I wasn't too excited about it, but I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. It may not be the flashiest ball on paper, but after just a few games I began to realize just how good this ball really is.

In short, this ball always seems to do what I need it to do with great consistency and smoothness. I'm going to have to pick up a second one for when mine burns out from having a ton of games on it.

You can always count on "Old Blue"!

Greatest Solid Ball Ever Produced
I have been bowling for 30 years and am currently a member of the Professional Bowlers Association. Even with my slow ball speed (15 mph), as my rev rate is moderate (330 mph) and I have excessive axis rotation and axis tilt, my ball slides a long way before picking up and coming off of the spot. Although this is good when the lanes break down, as it's a problem on the fresh (i.e. my ball would go too long), I set out to find a ball, featuring a solid cover and low RG, that I could use on the fresh which would rev up fast in the oil and read the lane properly but, would also have a low enough diff so as to not come off of the spot too sharply as , with my slow ball speed and excessively “rotated/tiled” roll, I would never be able to control the break of the ball if that were to happen. As, after researching all of the balls from all of the companies, I found that, of all of the balls, Storm’s IQ Tour Solid’s characteristics (e.g. Solid, Low RG, Lowest Diff Available in a Solid) most closely approached the characteristics that I was looking for, I purchased one in the hope that it would complement my ball speed/roll on oily lanes and enable me to score on the fresh; WOW, DID IT EVER!!!. Since I started throwing it in December 2017, I've averaged 223 over my last 18 league games which has raised my average from the low 190s to the low 200s. In addition, within that span, I shot my very first 800 series (e.g. 245-299-266 = 810) in all of my years of bowling (although I’d shot multiple 300s in both league and practice, I'd never shot even one 800 series ever in over 100,000 combined league/practice games). Thank you so very much Storm for having developed and produced the IQ Tour Solid for slow ball speed/excessive rotation/tilt ball roll players like me. It gives us a chance to compete against those high speed/high rev players (e.g. two-handers) by enabling us to create the proper length and snap "our way", through "ball slide" and moderate revs applied which already have the ball oriented to roll towards the pocket off of the spot, with a ball that also continues rolling through the pin deck and give us the carry we need to string strikes and keep up. Thanks again and please continue to produce the IQ Tour Solid for all of us bowlers who need it.

Best Solid Ball That's Ever Fit My Game
Even with my slow ball speed (15 mph), as my rev rate is moderate (330 mph) and I have excessive axis rotation, my ball slides a long way before it picks up and comes off of the spot. Although this is a good thing when the lanes break down, as it's a real problem on the fresh (i.e. my ball would go too long), I had to find a solid ball that would rev up fast in the oil so as to read the lane correctly and begin its break at the proper point downlane but, also have a low enough diff so as to not come off of the spot too sharply as my "roll" already diects the ball towards the pocket and I don't have the speed to control any additional "sharp break" towards the pocket (i.e. diff) that a ball would contribute. As the IQ Solid had the characteristics, on paper, that I was looking for (e.g. Solid Cover with a Low RG (rev up fast and read early), Lowest Diff Available in a Solid (mildest "snap angle" off of the spot)), I purchased one in the hope that it would "match me up" on the fresh and with the hope that it would carry well enough; WOW, DID IT EVER!!!. Since I started throwing it in league in the middle of December 2017, I've averaged 223 over my last 18 league games and, within that span, shot my very first 800 series in 30 years of bowling (245-299-266 = 810) at the end of January 2018; although I have 12 300 games (2 league, 10 practice), I'd never even shot one 800 series in over 100,000 practice games (previous high was a 782 series in league with the Storm Furious on a medium oily lane). Thank you so very much Storm for having developed and produced this ball for players like me who have slow ball speeds and very unique ball rolls. It gives us a chance to compete against those high speed/high rev players (e.g. two-handers) by creating the proper length and snap, even with our slow ball speeds, "our way" through "ball slide" with a controllable snap off of the spot, but doing so with a ball that will continue rolling through the pin deck and give us the carry that we desperately need it to give us in order to string the strikes we have to have to keep up. (P.S. For our sakes, please continue producing the IQ Solid or a solid ball having its specifications; thanks again.)

The GOAT.
Quite possibly the greatest ball ever made. It's certainly the most versatile, and predictable motion you can get. Doesn't matter the condition, long, short, medium, house, sport, you can find a way to the pocket and score. I've had three !Q Tours and they've all been good. The day they stop offering it will be the darkest day in STORM's history.

Best ball ever??
I had a 16# !Q Tour that I only threw a bit before switching to 15#. After selling my old one I punched out a new one with a 4.5x4.5x2.5 layout. In the first 25 games I've thrown with it I've had two 300's and an 812. There is a reason this ball has been on the market for so long-it is simply amazing!

It is smooth, predictable, and hits a ton!

If you don't have one in your bag, get one now!

This ball is amazing. She has a nice roll and strong finish, both of which I search for in a ball. She is by far my most versatile ball I own. With a polished surface she makes playing dry lanes and picking up spares a breeze. With a 500 or 1000 grit abralon finished this ball becomes my second most reactive ball. Oily lanes stand no chance against it. Overall, this is the best ball I have ever owned.

Absolutely best ball ever
The !Q Tour is simply the best ball I have ever thrown. It feels like this ball was designed for my game. The versatility and control this ball offers is unmatched. Every bowler should have one in their bag!!

Outstanding Ball
I was shocked how hard this ball hits the pocket and goes through the pins like you wouldn't believe. The ball itself is easy to control and predictable on the path it takes. I recommend this ball to anyone who is looking for a secondary strike ball or even a primary strike ball. After bowling just 4 games with it, I am very pleased that I purchased the IQ.
