    BIOGRAPHY

My father was a bowler! I am a bowler 1st because of his passion for our sport! At age 8, I joined my first youth program in Houston at N Shepard Lanes. I bowled every Saturday morning religiously and couldn’t wait for Bo Burton and Chris Schenkel on ABC Worldwide Sports. Hope that skier dude is ok that crashed in the beginning of every show! Like him, All of us in bowling have felt the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. My life has been shaped by my on lanes and off the lanes experiences! Choosing a career in corporate America has allowed me to the have the best of both worlds! Being a weekend warrior in bowling for over 40 years and staying with same corporate company for almost the same amount of time has given me new ideas of how to help our sport that we all love so much. The bottom line -bowling has so much to give to the world and it is my mission in life to express this to as many people who will listen. The Storm PBA/PWBA SABC Mixed Doubles event commonly called “The Luci tournament” has grown into something much bigger than I could have ever dreamed of. With the greatest bowlers and people on the planet participating side by side in the fight for breast cancer and any other cancer for that matter, inspires me to try to make it bigger and better every year!
