Storm Products Inc. (SPI) is pleased to announce key changes within the team. Brett Cooper has been appointed as Director of Strategic Partnerships, while Zach Trevino will succeed Cooper as Regional Sales Manager in the South Central Region. In addition, Kendle Miles will assume the role of Regional Sales Manager in the Northwest Region.

Storm Products Inc. has experienced significant growth and identified new business opportunities, necessitating the creation of these new positions and initiatives. Cooper, with 11 years of experience at Storm Products, possesses a unique skill set and extensive knowledge of the bowling industry, making him the ideal candidate for this newly created Director of Strategic Partnerships role.

In his new capacity, Cooper will act as a liaison between key departments, collaborating most closely with the Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and R&D Teams to develop training programs for the sales team on new products and initiatives. As a member of the Marketing Team, he will report to the VP of Marketing to manage current and future strategic partnerships. Additionally, Cooper will facilitate communication between Storm Products brands and bowling center proprietors and managers, leading new programs and initiatives while overseeing the progress of the SPI Have-A-Ball Program. Furthermore, he will serve as an account manager for assigned online retailers and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance In-Store Merchandising options for all SPI VIP Retail Locations.

“Brett Cooper's extensive experience, enthusiasm, and dedication to the bowling industry makes him the perfect fit for our new Director of Strategic Partnerships role,” said Gary Hulsenberg, VP of Marketing. “Cooper has the ability to connect with customers and peers of all ages and will excel at building great collaborations. He will be a key asset as we continue to drive our business forward and continue to foster valuable relationships within the industry."

The transitions for Trevino and Miles align seamlessly with SPI's strategic objectives. Originally from Georgetown, Texas, Trevino worked for Del Ballard at Ballard’s Bowling Academy prior to joining the Storm Technical Team at Headquarters in 2017. In 2018, with his technical background and experience, Trevino was moved from headquarters to manage the Northwest Territory. He will now oversee pro shop customers in Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. Kendle Miles, who has been with SPI since 2016, has demonstrated exceptional technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills in various roles, making him a great choice for the open Regional Sales Manager position in the Northwest Territory.

"We are thrilled to welcome Kendle Miles to our sales team as he takes on the northwest territory, and we're equally excited to have Zach Trevino return to his home state of Texas to manage that region," said Boomershine, VP of Sales and R&D. "This strengthens our sales team significantly, and we look forward to the opportunities ahead."

To facilitate a smooth transition, Miles will accompany Trevino on visits to customers throughout the territory, while Trevino will shadow Cooper to familiarize himself with his new responsibilities.
