I was a competitive soccer player turned bowler when I was 14. I grew up at Laurel Lanes, a 16 lane center in Raytown, MO that I went to everyday. Late night stories at the bowl got me to fall in love with the idea of pro bowling. And for some reason, I never gave up the idea. I went to college to bowl, then turned pro the day I graduated.
Bowling just seems to be the conversation I like to have. Other activities I enjoy are soccer and poker. I grew up 5 minutes from the Kansas City Chiefs stadium so NFL Sundays are a big deal. I also love to play golf and be out in the sun. Actually, anything in the sun is a great thing.
