Bowling became a huge part of my life in a way I never expected. I started bowling in 2023 after my mom saw a flyer for a bowling program at my school. At first, I only tried it out for fun and didn’t think much of it. I had played tennis before and thought that would always be my main sport. However, once I started bowling, everything changed. I quickly realized how much I enjoyed it, and before I knew it, bowling became something I truly cared about.
What makes my bowling journey special is that no one in my family bowls. Neither of my parents know anything about bowling, so I have to learn everything from scratch and make adjustments on my own. My parents are from Serbia and moved to the United States in 2003, so this sport was completely new to all of us. Even though they don't know much about bowling, they always support me and encourage me to keep improving.
Bowling has taught me a lot about patience, focus, and confidence. It challenges me both mentally and physically, and I love working to get better every day. I enjoy learning about different techniques, lane conditions, and how small adjustments can make a big difference. Bowling is not just a hobby for me anymore—it is something I am passionate about and dedicate a lot of time to.
Some fun facts about me are that I used to play tennis before bowling, I like setting goals for myself, and I enjoy pushing myself to improve. Bowling started as something small, but it has grown into something that is now a huge part of who I am.
