Dave’s love for bowling began at just nine years old in Watertown, New York, where he first learned that the sound of pins crashing could feel like home. What started as a childhood pastime quickly grew into a lifelong calling. When he later moved to Arizona, his passion followed him, deepening both his skill and his commitment to the sport.
As a teenager, Dave worked at a local bowling center under the guidance of John Davis who later went on to build the Kegel Corporation. Those formative years behind the scenes shaped not only his technical knowledge of the game but also his respect for the bowling community. He learned that bowling is more than scores and strikes. It is about people, perseverance, and pride in doing things well. After high school he attended Don Johnson’s Advanced School of Bowling.
In 1987, Dave took a bold step and opened his first pro shop, Bowling Dynamics. What began as a vision fueled by hard work and faith has grown into a lasting presence in the bowling world. Decades later, he continues to operate Bowling Dynamics with the same integrity and dedication that defined his early days in the sport. Bowlers know him not only for his expertise but for his steady character and willingness to help others improve their game.
When he is not at the lanes or in the shop, Dave has recently discovered a new craft: sourdough bread making. What may seem like a quiet hobby reflects the same patience, precision, and care he brings to bowling. Whether shaping a perfect ball reaction or tending a rising loaf, Dave approaches life with commitment, creativity, and gratitude.
