Cameron Bennett

Hometown: Baltimore, Maryland

Hi, my name is Cameron Bennett and I am 15 years old and in 10th grade. I have been bowling for as long as I can remember. My parents are bowlers and my dad used to own pro shops, so I grew up in the bowling alley. I started out bowling Saturday morning youth league at Perry Hall Lanes when I was 5 years old and the occasional local tournament. Once I got a taste of competitive bowling, I joined 2 sport shot leagues. Coach Mike Sinek has taught me a lot about bowling on sport patterns, managing my equipment, understanding ball motion and controlling my emotions. My high game is 300 (one at SYC Rhode Island and one at PBA Jr) and my high series is 800. My first and only SYC title was in the U15 division at Super Slam in Delaware. I have 2 PBA Jr titles and 2 Storm Junior National Team Championship titles. In the future I hope to win a few more SYC’s and maybe even some national titles. I would like to bowl in college, and I am just starting to look at schools. I am thankful for all the opportunities bowling has given me and the friends I have made because of it. When I’m not bowling, I enjoy being at the beach and surfing.
