I started bowling at the age of two.
I didn’t just grow up around the sport—I grew up inside it. My dad managed the local bowling center where I learned to walk the approaches, and my mom still works there today in the kitchen and behind the bar. The bowling alley wasn’t just a building. It was home.
In 2005, I traveled to Amsterdam to compete in the Youth Olympic Games through the People to People program. That experience ignited something in me. It shifted bowling from something I loved into something I wanted to master. That was the moment competition became personal.
I attended Alabama A&M University from 2008–2012, where I had the privilege of competing under Coach Jeff McCorvey. During my time there, I became a three-time All-American, the SWAC Freshman of the Year (2008–2009), and the SWAC Bowler of the Year (2011–2012). I was also a four-time First-Team All-Conference honoree and earned multiple All-Tournament Team selections.
In February 2025, I was inducted into my high school’s Athletic Hall of Honor—a full-circle moment that reminded me how far this journey has taken me.
In 2021, after spending five years away from competitive bowling due to a car accident, I returned to competition full-time on tour.
Since my return, I have made three professional stepladder finals: the 2023 BowlTV Classic, where I finished 3rd; the 2024 Pepsi Open, where I finished 4th; and the 2025 Peoria Regional, where I finished 3rd.
I’m very superstitious when it comes to competition. If I bowl well while eating something during a tournament, I’ll keep eating the exact same thing until the event is over.
Another quirky tradition started after a rough round on tour when I decided to get my nails done. I ended up making my first national stepladder that same event—and I’ve been getting them done ever since.
