SUPER SON!Q

We recently placed our NRG Hybrid formula on another Storm ball – the PhysiX™ - and the feedback has been phenomenal. Seeing how this coverstock would perform on a low RG symmetrical core piqued our curiosity, and we’re glad it did. The Super Son!Q bridges the gap between the Master™ line and the Premier™ line seamlessly. Expect this ball to be the perfect transition between the PhysiX and the Son!Q™.

Facts That Fit the Theory

At first glance the Centripetal HD Core may look familiar, but deep down is where the magic truly happens. It is the densest core of any Storm ball to date producing an RG value of 2.47. Because the Centripetal HD Core’s center of gravity is extremely low, it consistently impacts the pins at the perfect spot every time maximizing carry.

Nanotechnology: Why is something so small so big?

With the cover that was first introduced on the Virtual Gravity™ Nano, NRG nanotechnology is essentially manufacturing with atoms. It gives bowlers increased oil traction due to the micro-dynamic enhancements of the surface.

Ball is fantastic!
This ball has been fantastic since I decided to get one drilled. Have had it for a month and have managed to put together two 300s and one 800. Hits hard and rolls really smooth.

This ball is phenomenal
I just drilled up my super soniq with my favorite Storm layout which is the 4x4x2. My axis point is 4 5/16× 1 5/16 with a rev rate of 400, throwing about 14-15mph. This ball gets thru the heads real smooth, reads the mid lane real smooth with plenty of motion stored up for the backend. On our house shot which is 42' and 30ml. This ball is 5-8 boards stronger than my physics with the same layout and let's me create a different angle that I cant create with the physics.
When my phaze 2 and physics cant make the turn, this ball will! Good luck drilling and throwing this!

Storm Super SonIQ
The Super SoniQ features the same centripetal HD core found in the original SoniQ, but it now wrapped in an NRG hybrid cover. This allows for the super SoniQ to create a little more traction in the front part of the lane, blending out harder shots a little better. I was a big fan of the original SoniQ, but thought it was a little under powered due to how weak the cover was. I drilled both my Super SoniQ and SoniQ identical, 50x5x50, which for me puts the pin almost right above my bridge center. For this video, I decided to bowl on a very challenging almost completely flat 40’ sport shot. The topography on this pair allowed me to stand a little farther left than usual, and gave me a few boards to work with downlane. Since the middle part of this pattern is so flat, I really had to focus on not hitting up on the ball as much as usual. The Super SoniQ blends out this fresh condition very well, giving me a few boards downlane to hit while still striking. When compared to the SoniQ, the super is 2-3 boards stronger, and a few feet earlier downlane.
