PHAZE III

A never-before-seen cover and core combination of R3S Hybrid and the Velocity Core shines above all else. It reveres its past but is imminently future-forward. When the corners get tough, R3S gets tougher. The Velocity Core has become a staple in the Storm lineup. This low RG, high differential construction has turned into the go-to chassis for professionals around the world. Its benchmark characteristics serve a multitude of styles across a variety of patterns.

Nothing like it at all

This fast-revving shape, the aptly named, supercharged Velocity core smooths out the backend reaction without over-reacting and avoids creating an undesirable last-second movement. The nature of the core gives it plenty of motion due to the higher differential, but with the forgiveness all players love to see.

Interwoven Dynamics

R3S is the third generation of Storm’s flagship coverstock: Reactor cover material. This shell has a measurable porosity that is higher than its predecessor. This increased porosity reads the lane slightly sooner than Reactor or R2S and smooths out the overall reaction. Blending out lane transition is one of R3S’s best features.

Storm Phaze lll!
The phaze lll features the same velocity core found in the first two generations but is now wrapped in R3S hybrid. Much like Luke said, R3S hybrid and R3S pearl feel like they were switched. R3S pearl on the snaplock and OG intense made both balls very early, round and continuous whereas R3S hybrid on the intense fire and now the phaze lll is very clean and quick to respond to friction downlane. The phaze lll is so clean and quick that I actually had to touch the surface lightly with a 500 pad to make it slow down enough to successfully throw on our house shot. I can see myself using the phaze lll after my pro motion or phaze ll, when I need to open up my angles more. Compared to the phaze ll, the phaze lll is a few feet cleaner and a couple boards more overall. Be sure to stop into your local storm VIP pro shop and pre order your very own phaze lll today!
