  • We have just announced that the 26th Annual Grand Boot Hill Weekend will be live streamed by Inside Bowling from Stardust Bowl beginning on Friday, June 7 through the completion of the finals of the main event on Sunday, June 9, 2013. This is an exciting opportunity for both of us and will give the long overdue recognition and exposure to the many talented competitive scratch bowlers from around the country.

With the High Roller on hiatus, the Grand Boot Hill becomes the longest running scratch tournament of its kind in the country. Located centrally and guaranteeing a $15,000 first place prize in addition to guaranteed prize lists in all the events, the Grand Boot Hill expects to draw the largest number of entries ever.

We've been running scratch tournaments in the Chicago land area for 26 years. Despite the decline of scratch bowling throughout the country over the last few years, we have continued to promote the sport as it should be. All of our tournaments are conducted on demanding but consistently fair lane conditions. If you are looking to average 220 in tournament play, you might want to look elsewhere. If you want fair cashing ratios and are looking to improve your game, our tournaments are meant for you.

Our tournaments are open to all bowlers except PBA members who have won a national title after 2002. Senior titles are excluded from these rules. The schedule for this season’s remaining events is posted on the website.

Once again the 26th Annual Grand Boot Hill tournament will be held June 7-9, 2013 at Stardust Bowl, 37 Lorraine Avenue in Addison, IL. For those of you who still don't know, last year Stardust installed 84 new synthetic lanes. If you are a competitive bowler Stardust Bowl will be the place to be on the second weekend in June.

Thank you for supporting the Boot Hill tournaments. We wish you a successful bowling season and hope to see you at our upcoming events.
