A little late in posting this review. I picked this ball up on April 30th 2021, right out of the box threw 858, a 258 and back to back 3s on a typical house shot. This is my go to ball on any lane condition. I have used it on house shots and Kegel patterns, and know exactly what to expect from this ball. I get lined up and it is almost automatic, this is an awesome ball!

This is by far the most technically advanced bowling ball I ever owned . As relayed by Alex Hoskins in his youtube video about the Tensor core with the different layers allow the core to have higher RG areas closer to the surface and the low points producing lower RG areas. With doing a 2 inch P2P layout, Bret at Bowlers' Supply able him to leave more of the rounded peaks undisturbed allowing the ball to save energy downlane and not slow down too early like a symmetric ball with a 2 inch P2P layout.
The R4S cover adds more power downlane then the R2S has produced in the past. The R4S cover does take cover changes very well. From 500 grit to 4000 grit. I decided to take it back down to 3000 grit because it suited the pattern best over the course of several games.
Compared to a Proton Physix, the incite is longer and stronger from the foul line to the pit. Will keep this one in the ball arsenal for a good long time.

Review:
Storm gets real scientific and Technical in its promotion of the new Incite, but I can sum it up as a Really Darn Good ball! I drilled this up a while ago but just recently have been able to test it. This ball has me very excited. I was able to get away with powerful strikes while being off balance and being lazy with my release. My wife said this may be her new favorite ball of mine. It comes sanded to 3000 but looks more like 1500 – 2000 to me if we prepped it in the shop. The Incite is stronger than my Global Reality and is more responsive at the end of the pattern but a bit weaker overall than my Storm Proton. The Incite reads the pattern quickly with no problem but saves plenty of movement for the back end of the lane. I was very comfortable rolling this ball on multiple lines and the ball hits like a truck! I did not drill this ball with a strong layout but I am getting all I want from it and more. This ball will be a great addition to Storms line. We sold the first VIP Incite to a bowler who used it on sport shot and he was having the best look of everyone on that pattern. The Incite was a hit at our Matchmaker Ball Demo and I have preorders ready to fill on release date. I will need to make sure I have plenty extra in stock. This ball is a must in my tournament line up.

Summary:
The Incite delivers a lot of hook and hit!
The Incite revs up nicely in the back creating a great shape.
This ball will be a big seller for Storm.

First game with this ball I threw 7 strikes in a row! A few of those shots where a bit right and left of target but I still hit the pocket, I saw a great continuous motion with a mix of a sharp hook when it was needed not to sure how to explain any better.
1000/10 will never go bowling with out!

The Incite features the brand new mildly asymmetric tensor core. The tensor core boasts an RG of 2.49 and differential of 0.051 with a PSA of 0.011 in #16 respectively. The core was designed similarly to the rondure core found in the Rubicon and Rubicon UC2. The design intent behind this was to mimic the displaced core mass you have when drilling a symmetric ball with a weight hole. This provides a stronger, smoother and more continuous ball motion without the need of an extra hole. The incite is also wrapped in this year’s formulation of R4S hybrid. When I first threw this ball, I felt like I was throwing a lane shined Omega Crux. It provided a medium to higher amount of friction with being less forward than the Omega. This ball has been a staple in my tournament bag the last month and provides a perfect ball down from an Omega Crux and Gravity Evolve when I need to open up my angles more through the front part of the lane. When compared to the Omega Crux, I found the Incite to be a touch cleaner, more responsive and create less friction overall. The Incite is available for pre order today from any Storm VIP pro shop!

This ball for me is a ton of ball. Drilling it 50x45x2.5 to make it strong and even it was so much more ball then I thought it was going to be. The strength of the cover and core rolled early and didnt quit. I ended up taking the cover to 4000 and added a little polish to it then hit lightly with 500 and this ball now is much more versatile and can throw on a bunch of different conditions. The color appeal is sharp and really looks good to see the shape thru the pins.

i need somthing like the dimensions and the marvel and optimus pearl this core and shape on the lane are similar to these balls please bring back r2x r3x etc.
