Our planned rotation worked exactly as planned.

The Orbital Core has a distinctly low RG axis. The lower the RG, the less resistant the ball will be to changing direction as it travels down the lane. The central ball inside the core ensures the ball revs up in the midlane and blends out the end of the pattern.

Strong just got stronger.

NRG™ has become a staple in Storm’s lineup of coverstocks for nearly a decade. It’s due time for an upgrade! NeX (Nano Extreme) is Storm’s earliest reading cover to date. NeX was remarkably earlier hooking than NRG on any pattern, or any surface we tested it on. Our standardized durability and longevity tests showed NeX created 11% more entry angle and 9.6% more overall hook after 50 shots compared to a fresh NRG cover. Simply put, NeX gives more midlane read than ever WITHOUT sacrificing any backend! Wow.

WOW!! This ball is simply amazing! The new Axiom Pearl is the biggest hooking hardest hitting Pearl Ball I have ever used. The new Axiom Pearl even covers more boards than my Parallax. The low RG of the Axiom Pearl helps the ball read the lane and rev up saving a lot of energy and hit from the cover. If this ball finds enough friction it will out move my dull balls. The Axiom Pearl is so good I try to use it whenever I can. I love when a ball comes out that you have absolute trust in the motion and carry which I have with The Axiom Pearl. I feel that when using Symmetric balls you have more forgiveness and can use them longer before a move or ball change occurs. We have been selling these extremely well in the shop and the ball motions for all styles have been great. The Axiom Pearl carries more off hits than anything else I have seen lately. It will be hard to beat the performance of this ball.

The Axiom Pearl is very strong for a shiny pearl.
The hit and carry is fantastic.
The color is very appealing.
Sales on the Axiom Pearl have been outstanding.

Axiom Pearl
The Axiom Pearl features the same low RG, high differential core found in the original Axiom but is now wrapped in NEX pearl. NEX pearl is Storm's latest rendition to its nano based covers. The design intent behind NEX was to enhance midlane traction without sacrificing downlane motion. This combination provides exactly what you want to see out of a stronger symmetrical ball. During the middle games of a tournament block, as soon as you are forced left it is important to keep a strong ball in your hands to control the midlane. The Axiom Pearl provides the midlane control needed with the energy retention required to get the ball through the pins properly. This ball reaction reminds me a lot of the SonIQ and Marvel Pearl which were both staples in my bag a few years back. When compared to the Axiom, the Axiom Pearl is 2 to 3 boards more overall and 2 to 3 feet later downlane. When thrown against the Hyroad, the Axiom Pearl provides much more traction and slows down much faster. Be sure to stop into your local Storm VIP pro shop and preorder your very own Axiom Pearl for the October 9th release!
