Design
While we are always looking at the intended ball motion and desired reaction as the most critical part of the design process, we additionally focused on performance longevity while developing this new release. While nanotechnology creates several micro-peaks, these edges break off through normal wear, and during this process additional peaks are exposed giving you a strong, consistent ball motion that is built to last!
As for the Short Oil ball, we minimized the surface profile, reducing the surface roughness Ra numbers to single digits. And when polished to 1500-grit, this ball gave us the ability to control drier backends.
In addition to creating a smoother cover, we recommend placing the mass bias closer to your PAP to help you further dominate the short oil patterns.
