• Richard Shockley has a passion for the game of bowling that spans over thirty years. Starting as a youth bowler in the 1960s in Atlanta, Georgia, he accomplished many things as a competitor, eventually becoming a member of the professional bowlers association and competing on tour.

  From early on, Richard knew that to be the best player you needed top level coaching to succeed. Richard had just that and it was that coaching that he received on the basic fundamentals of the game and the bowling tips and drills that he was taught to elevate his game that eventually led him to become a coach himself. 

  Now a coach for over thirty years, Richard is a member of an elite group of top coaches in the world as a USBC Certified Gold Coach.  His passion for teaching players has only increased over the years and as the game has changed, Richard has kept current with all the latest teaching techniques and drills that he uses with top players in the US and throughout the world.
