Bowling News USA - July 10, 2014 Rhino Page's Crossing The Finish Line to Find a Cure!

I am about to embark on a fantastic journey, and I need your help! I will complete the 2014 Jamestown Half Marathon on July 12th to help find a cure for Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

What are Crohn's and Colitis?
Crohn's disease is a chronic disorder that causes inflammation of the digestive or gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Ulcerative colitis on the other hand, affects only the colon. Both diseases are painful, seldom-discussed lifelong conditions.

It is estimated that as many as 1.5 million Americans have IBD, however many more suffer in silence due to potential embarrassment and alienation. Crohn's disease may occur in people of all ages, but it is primarily a disease of adolescents and young adults, primarily affecting those between 15 and 35.

Together We Can Make a Difference!
As a member of Team Challenge, I have a coach, a training program, and teammates to support me. I have committed to a training schedule that ensures I will swim, bike and run/walk my way to success, and I’ve pledged to raise $2,900 in donations to The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.

I AM MOTIVATED! I AM COMMITTED! I WILL DO IT!
The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America is committed to improving the lives of children and adults with these diseases, and so am I! Please help support this important cause by giving generously.

CCFA is a nationally top-ranked charity (one of only 6 in the country to receive an "A" rating), and a minimum of82 cents per dollar raised goes directly to research and patient support, and your contribution is tax deductible.

Thank you for your support!!
