Bowling News USA - March 25, 2014 Lindsay's Excellent Adventures

Storm staffer Lindsay Boomershine continues to smash racks in Nevada, Utah and pretty much everywhere she has been bowling lately.

After leading the Storm Products Inc. team to the top spot at the 2014 USBC Open Championships two weeks ago in Reno (707), Boomershine followed it up with a knockout blow at the 2014 Utah Women's State Tournament last weekend in Salt Lake City.

Boomershine started the tournament with a 729 set in the Singles Event at Bonwood Bowl. Next, she teamed with Tarika Onishi in the Doubles Event and fired off games of  279 - 200 - 299 for a 778 set. A solid nine pin speed bumped perfection, and the duo placed second in Doubles.

Boomershine joined Onishi, Debbie Wade and Kelly Harrison in the Team Event and shot 756. A first place effort.

"I ended up shooting 2263 Scratch for All-Events (first place)," said Boomershine. "I used the IQ Tour for about four games out of the nine. The rest of the time I used the IQ Tour Fusion and that's the ball I shot 299 with during doubles."

"I was really excited when then IQ Tour Fusion came out. I knew that it would be a terrific compliment for my game. The Fusion gives you a totally different aspect of ball motion and reaction. The ball truly is amazing. Last Saturday, was the most fun I've had in a long time. Bonwood Bowl and all the ladies that dedicated their time to run the Utah Women's State Tournament ran a terrific event. I'm extremely proud and honored to have scored high and win two titles. I couldn't of done it without Storm and Roto Grip bowling balls. I am so happy to be apart of such an amazing company!"
