The last semifinal berth in the 2014 PBA League season will be decided when LaMarr Woodley’s Pittsburgh Jack Rabbits presented by meets Kevin Hart’s Philadelphia Hitmen presented by High 5 Gear in a quarterfinal matchup Sunday on ESPN at 1 p.m. ET.

After Sunday’s telecast, the PBA League will be down to four teams that will advance to semifinal action beginning March 30 on ESPN.

In each PBA League round, teams are competing for points in a head-to-head series of single-elimination matches that include singles, alternate-ball doubles, Baker trio and Baker team formats. One point is awarded for a win in the singles, doubles and trios contests with three points awarded for a Baker team win. Should there be a tie at the conclusion of the match, a one-ball sudden-death roll-off will determine the winner.

In Sunday’s opening singles match, three-time PBA Tour winner Osku Palermaa, bowling for the Jack Rabbits, will meet four-time Tour winner Bill O’Neill bowling for the Hitmen.

In the alternate-ball doubles match, PBA Tour winner Ronnie Russell will pair up with three-time Tour winner Eugene McCune of the Jack Rabbits, bowling against the Hitmen’s Dan MacLelland and two-time Tour winner Ryan Ciminelli.

In the trios match, the Hitmen’s O’Neill, 2012 PBA Rookie of the Year Josh Blanchard and two-time Tour winner Mike DeVaney will battle the Jack Rabbits’ Palermaa, Russell and Martin Larsen.

The Baker team match will feature the Jack Rabbits lineup of 13-time Tour winner Patrick Allen, Larsen, McCune, Russell and Palermaa vs. the HItmen’s  DeVaney, Blanchard, MacLelland, Ciminelli and O’Neill.

Sunday’s winner will advance to a semifinal matchup on April 6 against Chris Hardwick’s Silver Lake Atom Splitters (Chris Barnes, Bryon Smith, Dom Barrett, Wes Malott and Tommy Jones) who defeated Terrell Owens’ Dallas Strikers (Norm Duke, Mike Machuga, Amleto Monacelli, Dave Wodka and Rhino Page), 5-1, in the match that aired on March 2. The March 30 semifinal match on ESPN will pit Chris Paul’s L.A. X team against the defending Elias Cup champions, Billie Jean King’s New York City WTT KingPins.

Feb. 9 Quarterfinal Match One – L.A. X presented by def. BROOKLYN STyLES presented by Concrete Software PBA Bowling Challenge, 4-2, to advance to semifinals.

Feb. 16 Quarterfinal Match Two – New York City WTT KingPins presented by GEICO def. Motown Muscle presented by Barbasol, 4-2, to advance to semifinals.

March 2 Quarterfinal Match Three – Silver Lake Atom Splitters presented by Spiceworks def. Dallas Strikers presented by USBC, 5-1.

March 23, 1 p.m. – Quarterfinal Match Four, Pittsburgh Jack Rabbits presented by vs. Philadelphia Hitmen presented by High 5 Gear.

March 30, 5 p.m. – Semifinal Match One, L.A. X vs. KingPins (winner advances to Elias Cup Finals).

April 6, 1 p.m. – Semifinal Match Two, Silver Lake Atom Splitters vs. Jack Rabbits-Hitmen winner (winner advances to Elias Cup Finals).

April 13, 2 p.m. – Elias Cup Finals
