18 year-old David Krol of Missouri won the TAT Roto Grip Challenge Thursday night at a packed Orleans Bowling Center in Las Vegas, NV. A record 180 bowlers competed. Krol, a high school senior, used the Roto Grip Deranged and won the $5000 first place prize. The right-hander was presented with a TAT entry for Xmas by his parents who were in attendance.

30 cash spots were awarded.

Four bowlers made the finals of the event which featured a single ball sudden death format. Krol struck on his final shot against Bernal, who left a 4- pin. Finalists included Tona Porcayo of California, Jorge Bernal of Mexico, Robert Lewis of Arizona, and Krol.
