Bowling News USA - October 29, 2013 Tony Guarino, "Storm's Biggest Fan", Passes Away at 49.

Tony Guarino, the Pennsyvania bowler who made national headlines in 2011, has passed away at the age of 49.

Guarino, of Wilkins Township, Pennsylvania was an avid bowler whose only 300 game was bowled using a Storm X- Factor Ace. Diagonosed with terminal cancer in 2008, Guarino contacted Storm Products with a special request.

Guarino wanted his final resting place to be in a bowling ball urn. Storm was happy to fullfill his request and made a replica of the X- Factor Ace.

With the help of the Dream Foundation, an organization that helps make dreams come true for adults who face life-threatening illness, the Guarino’s were able to board a plane and make the journey to Utah to spend the day at Storm, which was Tony’s last wish.

The heart warming story was picked up by the national media and became a human interest story hit.

"Storm was honored to have met Tony and fullfill his wishes," said Storm's Mike Sargent. He was a wonderful human being and loved bowling."
