Bowling News USA - November 2, 2012 Storm, Roto Grip Staffers Ready To Defend at 2012 World Series of Bowling

 

Storm and Roto Grip staffers took to the lanes on Friday at South Point Casino and Hotel for the official practice session at the 2012 World Series of Bowling. The Storm and Roto Grip staffers are hoping for a repeat performance from 2011 where they combined for an astounding seven wins.

"The players are ready to go," said PBA Tour Consultant Dell Ballard Jr. "They are prepared and have the best equipment in their hands. Now it's time to go out and perform."

 

Storm staffers including Pete Weber, Norm Duke and Jason Belmonte appeared to be very comfortable with the lane patterns at South Point and are anxious to get the WSOB underway.

"I have had a very relaxing summer," said Weber. "I have been bowling well, I feel good, and am ready to bowl."

Storm Regional Sales Manager Jim Callahan and Research and Development Director Victor Marion are also onsite repping for the Storm and Roto Grip stable.

"Our goal is is to give our players the best oppourtunity to win, said Callahan. "We try to give our guys direction and get them comfortable so they throw strikes."

The 2012 WSOB is the fourth annual edition and will run Nov. 2-11 as a multi-event competition. Stay posted to Storm Enews for complete coverage.

Saturday, Nov. 3 - Alka Seltzer Plus Cold Cheetah Championship

7:30 a.m. – 8 qualifying games, Squad A
2 p.m. - 8 qualifying games, Squad B
Top 16 advance to Round of 16
8 p.m. – Top 16, 6 qualifying games
Top 4 after 14 games advance to stepladder finals
