Bowling News USA - March 13, 2012 Storm's Andrew Frawley Marches to Asian Bowling Federation Win

Long-time Australian national team member and Storm International staffer, Andrew Frawley (pictured) captured the first title of the 2012 Asian Bowling Federation Tour by defeating Yousif Falah of Bahrain, 259-213, Saturday at Ozone Entertainment Center in Manama, Bahrain. There was no women's competition in this event.

Frawley continues Storm's International victory march. Paeng Nepomuceno and Storm's Osku Palermaa earned titles in March as well.

Frawley, who is the head coach of the Kuwait national team, eliminated another three Bahrainis - Masoud Saberi (237-160), Mohammed Sultan (205-195) and Fawaz Abdulla (248-225) - on his way to the title match.

Falah sidelined Abdulrahman Al-Jaidah of Qatar (198-162), compatriot Ahmed Al-Goud (218-207) and Hussain Al-Suwaidi, UAE (235-179) in single-elimination head-to-head matches.

In the title match, Frawley reeled off a seven-bagger to fly past his opponent, 259-213, and to win his first international title since the Thailand Open in the year 2010.

The next event is the 2011 ABF Tour Tournament of Champions to be held March 13-14 in Kuwait followed by the Kuwait leg of the 2012 Tour on March 20.
