Bowling News USA - February 1, 2012 Storm Products, Inc. Adds Del Ballard As Tour Consultant
Brigham City, UT - Storm Products Inc., announces a realignment within the marketing department. Effective immediately, Chris Schlemer will assume a new position as Roto Grip Marketing Manager. Storm is also pleased to announce the hiring of Del Ballard, Jr. to assume the role as PBA Tour Consultant for Storm Products, Inc., previously held by Schlemer.
Schlemer has been serving as Storm and Roto Grip’s PBA Tour Consultant for over 10 years. During his time as the PBA Tour Consultant, he has become one of the premier coaches in the industry, serving Storm and Roto Grip’s staff of champions. He has presented seminars around the globe as well as being requested every year to attend Storm’s annual Storm Fair held in Japan. In the past five years, Storm has been the number one brand on the PBA Tour and for the past three years, Storm and Roto Grip combined have had more TV appearances than any other manufacturer in the world under the guidance of Schlemer. “I am honored to have Chris Schlemer pick up where I left off with Roto Grip,” commented Roger Noordhoek, Director of Marketing for Storm Products, Inc. “Since moving to headquarters, he has proven that he can handle anything that comes his way, and he continues to impress me. I am very confident that his industry experience and creativity will help the Roto Grip brand flourish as he guides it a new direction,” added Noordhoek.
PBA Hall of Famer, Del Ballard, joins Storm Products Inc. as the new PBA Tour Consultant. After a brilliant bowling career, Del has earned the respect of his peers and competitors as one of the best bowling coaches in the world. He has been able to convey his knowledge of the sport to all levels for many years and Storm is happy to have him step in after Schlemer.
