Bowling News USA - January 4, 2012 Storm Staffer Eric Forkel Wins Ninth SNBT Title With Storm Frantic

The Southern Nevada Bowling Tournaments kicked off the 2012 season with a tournament on January 1, appropriately named “The Hangover.”   Storm staff member, Eric Forkel blistered the lanes his last three games with 278, 280, 279 (836) on his way to a 1594 total for six games (265.66 average).  Forkel picked up his ninth SNBT title with the performance.  “I am really happy and amazed at how well the Frantic rolls,” commented Forkel. 

Coming in second was another PBA National Champion, Dave Wodka who rolled 1462. Low to cash was SNBT Player of the Year David Haynes who was +186 for six games. The field average was 216 with 30 of the 38 bowlers rolling in the plus.
