Bowling News USA - October 30, 2011 DOMinating Performance in Reno

Storm International staffer Dom Barrett of the UK won his first PBA Regional title Sunday at the PBA West/NW Regions Sands Regency Casino Open. The tournament was held at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno, NV. Barrett had an 8 -2 match play record and collected $2000 for the win. The victory qualified Barrett for the 2012 PBA Tournament of Champions. He used the Roto Grip Outlaw™ and Bandit™.

Storm and Roto Grip dominated the top 5 places.

Second Place finisher and winner of the PBA Non-Champions event held Friday, Josh Blanchard of Gilbert, Arizona used a Roto Grip Nomad Dagger™ and Storm Victory Road™.

Third place finisher Jason Munkberg of Redding, California used the the Storm Hy-Road™ and Victory Road™ Solid.

Finishing fourth was the UK’s Stu Williams, another recent first time PBA regional winner (Mesquite Nevada.) Williams used the Storm Victory Road Solid and Tropical Heat™ Hybrid.

Oregon’s Chris Warren was fifth and used a Storm Virtual Gravity™ Nano Pearl/Roto Grip Bandit.
