Bowling News USA - September 8, 2011 First Ever Storm University Is A Huge Success!

Last week Storm held the first ever Storm University at the Odyssey Fun Center in Sheboygan, WI, and the reviews of the event were amazing! In all, 25 people attended the event that sold out in just one week. The “students” were privileged to receive instruction from five of the best coaches in the world including Hank Boomershine, Steve Kloempken, Mike Luongo, Chris Sand, and Peter Somoff.

“What made Storm University so unique was that it combined classroom learning with on-lane coaching, and Storm’s See Your Game digital video lessons,” said Steve Kloempken, Global Technical Advisor for Storm Products, Inc. “Aptly named the ‘triple threat,’ this 3-prong effort produced tremendous results and received the praise of all those in attendance.”

The event also included a MatchMaker Live portion to make the event a completely rounded experience. “The MatchMaker helped to add to the weekend because the players were able to easily try new equipment to see how different balls reacted on different oil patterns,” commented Kloempken. “This further increased their knowledge level and capabilities.”

“Day one, AWESOME!” proclaimed David Eskew, one of Storm University’s first graduates. “Day two, EVEN BETTER!”
