Bowling News USA - May 13, 2011 Storm San Marino Open Set for July

Made, Netherlands - Storm Bowling Products BV is proud to announce the sponsorship of the 7th Storm San Marino Open at Rose’n Bowl in Serraville, San Marino. The European Tour event will be held July 2 through 10.

“We are very pleased to have Storm Europe sponsor the San Marino Open”, stated Adriano Santi, the host of the event and General Manager of Rose’n Bowl. “This year we will have a special separate prize fund for our Italian entries along with the featured 60,000 euro prize fund.”

This new feature is being co-sponsored by Active Bowling, Storm’s Authorized Distributor in Italy. “By having this exclusive prize fund for the Italian bowlers, we are working to build and encourage the competitive bowlers in Italy to come out and compete against some of the best bowlers in the world”, noted Gianluca Badiali, owner of Active Bowling.

Added Dave Symes, President Storm Products, Inc., “The San Marino Open is a great event. Our team at Storm Europe is looking forward to again working with Adriano and Luca on making it even better this year.”

Part of Storm’s plans for the event is to have members of their pro staff and their team from the Storm Europe warehouse in the Netherlands on hand during the event to interact with everyone present.

“The San Marino is be a great venue and a terrific opportunity to introduce our new products to the pro shops and bowlers attending”, said Wes Pye, Storm International Sales Consultant. “We are working diligently to educate the bowlers and improve the availability of our products across the continent.”

Active Bowling and Storm will be assisting in the pro shop during the event. Specials on Storm and Roto Grip products will be available along with the introduction of the limited edition International exclusive, Storm “Domination NANO” high performance bowling ball.
