Bowling News USA - January 19, 2010 2010 Military Championships ready for Take-off at Gold Coast

 

The 53rd annual Military Bowling Championships Tournament is set for Monday, January 17th at the Gold Coast Bowling Center in Las Vegas. You might know the event under different names such as Worldwide Military or Armed Forces Military Bowling but it is the same event that Nellis AFB and Showboat Hotel hosted for years!

The dates are January 17 - 21, 2010 with the Breakfast Awards Party on Friday, January 22.

The entire Storm National PBA Pro Staff will be on-hand including Pete Weber, Norm Duke, Rhino Page, Ryan Shafer, Jason Belmonte and Jeff Carter!

We are pleased to report that the fabulous Early Bird room rate that our host Gold Coast Hotel, Casino & Bowling Center has offered has been extended to November 1. Call them toll free at 1-888-402-6278.

We are also pleased to announce that we will be working with the Bowler To Veterans Link ( BVL). $1 per contestant will be donated to that organization and High Roller, management team of the MBC will match those funds to double the donation! The event, sponsored in part by Storm Bowling Products, features 6-player Team, Doubles and Singles. There are optional Sweepers and a Mixed Doubles event as well - something for everyone including guests of the contestants! Entry fee is $160 per person which includes Team, Doubles, Singles & All-Events.

There are 3 separate divisions: Active Duty, Retired and Senior Retired and the event is certified by USBC.

And for those of you who are not eligible to bowl because you are neither Retired Military or Active Duty, we have 2 events that you can Vets can bowl here in Vegas.
