The brochure for the 2010 February High Roller and "A Game" double-header is now available at our website www.high-roller.com. The High Roller format is similar to what we used for many years starting back in August of 1982 at Showboat Lanes. The 2-day "A Game" will be staged Sunday & Monday, January 31 & February 1st and the High Roller from Tuesday, February 2nd to Saturday the 6th.  And of course, both events are hosted by Sam's Town in Las Vegas!

There are a few changes to the famous High Roller match play.  2 divisions: bowl your matches in either the Age 49 & Under division or the combination division of Age 50 & Over and players with all averages of 215 or less. The last remaining player from each division bowls one more match for the title!

Also different from 27 years ago are the re-entry squads. Contestants can pick from any of 10 squad times from Tuesday through Saturday to bowl their 1st match or unlimited re-entries.  Round 3 is the money round where 1 in 8 of the field wins $1,000. But new for February, anyone losing in the 3rd round of the day, winning only 2 matches, receives a new Storm ball!

And - you can win $1,000 each day Tuesday through Saturday!  Each day has rounds 1 through 4 and anyone who loses in any of those rounds can re-enter any squad any day. Players that win that 4th round of the day advance to Round 5 on Saturday

SAVE MONEY & ENTER EARLY - The entry fee into the High Roller is $350, re-entries are $250 each and Sweepers are $150 each. But enter by November 10th (postmarked) and take $25 off each entry, re-entry and Sweepers!  Save $$$ over the week and also receive 3 free entries into the VIP events, another $150 savings!

In all Round 1 squads, players start over whether it is their 1st entry or a re-entry.  Players receive a different Storm high performance ball on their 1st & 3rd re-entry.  And Storm will again feature their "See Your Game" video & coaching. Storm, the Presenting Sponsor will award hundreds of new Storm balls during the High Roller for players re-entering. And the Storm staff will be onsite for information and layout all week.

The "A Game" is a 5-gamer with a match play finals. There are 2 separate divisions for qualifying and match play: Age 49 & Under or Age 50 & Over. One player from each division bowl each other for the $10,000 top prize!  There is a 1 in 5 ratio for cashing and the bottom prize is guaranteed a minimum of $500. Entry fee is $250 if you are also bowling in the High Roller, $300 if not.  There is also 1 re-entry squad available for those that don't advance to the Semis.

It is always luck-of-the-draw that determines your lane and your opponent. Select your 1st round match play time. But from that point forward it is strictly luck-of-the-draw as you advance from round to round. What a great feeling it is to visit the Winner’s Circle after each round!
