Bowling News USA - May 4, 2009 Belmonte on ESPN's E: 60 Tuesday...

In the tradition of great sports innovators like Dick Fosbury, who revolutionized the high jump, and Bill Walsh, inventor of football's West Coast offense, 25-year-old Australian (and Storm star) Jason Belmonte, is taking the bowling world by storm with a revolutionary technique in which he bowls using both hands.
Belmonte, who won his first PBA title in March, will be featured on ESPN's news journalism show E:60, Tuesday, May 5 at 7 p.m. ET.
E:60's Jeremy Schaap chronicle's Belmonte's development of the technique, which he began at 18 months of age in his parents' bowling alley. Belmonte's two-handed bowling is now spreading to all corners of the globe.
E:60, launched in October 2007, combines investigative reporting, in-depth profiles of intriguing sports personalities, and features on emerging star athletes. These stories are presented in a fresh and innovative format that incorporates producer/correspondent meetings.
