Accomplishment: I purchased a Hy-Road™ about 4 months ago and sadly..I hated it! However: after continuing to roll it and play with it; Hy-Road became my favorite ball! I was an ebonite bowler before and now I'm hooked on...Storm! (no pun intended) I bought the Invasion™ on 3/15/10 at 11:30 am it was drilled by 1pm. I rolled my first game with it at 130pm. For the first time ever in my simple insignificant miserable bowling career, I felt in charge of the lane. Bowling on a tournament shot used for the Hoinke classic in Cincinnati Ohio, I rolled a 275, 215, 224! What?! I just did that?! No freakin way I was so excited and it didn't even count. It was off of any USBC record it was open bowling! No; how could this happen to me? No one was there to see it except the two guys working the desk. Well I wasn't going to let this get me down! I was determined to do this again. My league was that night! I'm a 175 bowler on my good days. Let lightning strike twice! I started with a 213...good but i can do better! started next game with 4 in a row and then adrenaline and a thought of getting a 700 series took over and I blew it missed spares and pockets,,,Oh my god no! I only rolled a 198!? Really? My team mates were happy with me but I was not happy with myself. I can do better. I sterted with 5 in a row again and then it happened again; I lost it! I only finished with a 184! Dangit! A 595?! Are you serious? Only now in reflection can I be truly happy about it. That series gave me a 198 average for the night. Thats a first! So, I got a coach and Im not looking back. I practiced last night (3/17) I did it again rolled a 614 series! My prases to STORM! From now on Im only using your products. I have booked my first ever trip to go to Reno for nationals and Im going to love it! Thank you STORM...my average will rise again and again its because you have found a way make a ball that is very forgiving on the lane. It doesnt matter if I miss my mark a little outside its coming back to INVADE the pocket! My next purchase is probably a tropical storm just to compliment my ball collection. Oh yeah , by the way I love the way your success smells! (Mullberry) It makes it even sweeter!
