Why did Captain Caveman say “Hunga Bunga”?

Name: Jeff Baker

Storm Product: Current & Classic

Accomplishment: For those of you who don’t know the answer to the classic ‘80s cartoon, “Me hungry!” Hunger is exactly what drives amateur staffer Brian “Captain Caveman” Cavey. Brain’s November to remember started on November 13 when he was inducted into the Greater Baltimore Bowling Hall of Fame. Other inductees included Carol Lloyd and Danny Wiseman. While some might be content after achieving such an honor, Brian’s hunger to win never stops and this Thanksgiving was one to remember. Thanksgiving eve, A&B Pro Shop ran their 3rd annual 6 game tournament at BRC Perry Hall Lanes (Baltimore) on the 2007 USBC shot. With his Virtual Energy in hand, Brian simply averaged 232.50 (+195) as he finished 20 pins in front of Norman “Lil Man” Johnson to win. With his stomach full, he put down the fork and headed to BRC Blue Hen (Delaware) for an 8-gamer. With two (2) games to go, he was trailing on the modified pattern and made it Reign with back to back 279’s to win. After getting home at 5am from the midnighter, it was time to roll down to Fairfax, VA for another 8-gamer at 11am. Bowl America Fairfax was treated to a Team Storm show. Amateur staffer Chris Johnson was rested and ready to stop Caveman’s roll! CJ gave it his all but Caveman slapped 258-268-279 with his Reign games 6-8 to lock it up. CJ used his Furious, Hy-Road, Natural and Virtual Energy. Caveman used his Dimension & Rapid Fire as well. Thanksgiving is a 4-day weekend and that brings us to Sunday. Off to Thunderhead (Taneytown, MD) with a chance to win one last tournament. The easiest way to improve his chances of winning was by leading qualifying. After using his Rapid Fire and Reign all day, he opted for his Rapid Fire in the title match to win his fourth straight tournament. Caveman will remember November 2009 for some time to come.
