Accomplishment: Amateur staffer Brian Cavey broke his New Year’s tradition of heading to PA to bowl and supported a friend running their first New Years Day tournament. A&B Pro Shop ran a 9 game New Years Day Marathon at Perry Hall. 42 players showed up, men and women to compete but as the pins fell, it was clear who the champion was. After 8 games, Cavey had run up a 140 pin lead as he cycled through his balls, from a Spit Fire to a Street Rod Solid to his Gravity and finally his Rapid Fire solid as he was moving further left in need a stronger piece to maintain his angle. When the tournament was down, Cavey had won by 101 pins and in second was Chhoeun To who used an Attitude Shift, Rapid Fire solid & Spit Fire.
