It was nice to have a smaller field to where I could be more hands on with certain players and not so much with others. When we have half the field and have such a great staff, it makes my job easy. I didn't help Weber as much as he didn't need it. 5-10 minutes here and there was all he needed.

Pete used all Goldie's (IQ Tour Pearl's) and HyRoads most of the week. When Weber came over to the TV pair they were hooking a lot more than just one game before. Weber just moved left with his Goldie and it was good. He asked me about a ball change late on left lane and I said yes. He went to a pin down IQ Tour Pearl that hooked too quick on the left lane and stayed with the pin above on the right lane. And the rest was history!  He bowled unbelievable!

Randy Pedersen

The star of the show, Pete Weber, took the lanes and destroyed the competition, just like he had done all week long. At age 50, he's doing some of his greatest bowling. I think he now needs to be considered for top three greatest players of all time.

Belmo was Belmo and did most of his preparation on his own. I just did some surfaces each round to keep them fresh. He threw mostly Reign of Powers then Wreckers. When Belmo came to the TV pair he went straight to his shinier wrecker and it was golden in practice and started with 4-5 in a row.

I thought the finals were going to be high scoring as Belmo doubled but then the lanes hooked too much and when he moved it was weak. I reminded him that if he moved left and it was too long he had a wrecker with same layout that I had lightly hit with a 3000 pad. I don't think he tried it but the shiny ball was weak when he moved in or threw it harder.

Belmonte took care of his arch rival Rash, and then the stage was set. Belmo was at the top of his game but was facing a legend who rises to the test at majors in Pete Weber.

Osku used 90% Defiant Souls all week. On the show he didn't have much at all. He tried all of his Defiant Souls but they were all too long. He went to a lucid and it was ok on the left lane but still too much ball on the right lane. I asked him if he wanted more surface on one and he said no he would do it with his hand. But then with one minute left in practice the lanes blew up and the look he had in practice broke down fast. He wound up moving right late in his match to make it close but he left a couple of ring tens and he was done.

Randy Pedersen

Another great week for Storm, another major championship. Osku had a great week, but had some trouble on the show early. He made a ball change and couldn't carry. A great week non the less.
