Biography

Jeff was inducted into the United States Bowling Congress Hall of Fame - Performance Category,  in 2011.  Is a member of the Wisconsin Bowling and Madison Bowling Association Hall of Fame.

When not on the lanes he likes playing with his dog (Clifford), working out, reading and watching sports. Of course, he is a true faithful Wisconsin fan following the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and Milwaukee Brewers.

Richgels bowled on the PBA Tour in 1987 and 1988 with his highest tournament finish of seventh.  He has twenty-nine titles consisting of twenty-eight regional titles and the 1993 National Resident Pro Championship, now known as the National Regional Players Inventational). He was named 1994 and 1999 Midwest PBA Player of the Year.

Jeff  is the only bowler ever to go an entire tournament clean (90 frames), in Huntsville (1997).  He also has a lifetime USBC Open Tournament average of 210.9 to go along with over having an All Events score of over 2,000 ten times.  Sixteen times, Richgels has bowled over 1,900 in All Events and has 16 career 700 series at the USBC Open Tournament.
