John is a USBC Silver Certified Coach as welll as a IBPSIA Certified Level 1 member

John has been in the bowling scene around Texas for the past 30+ years. He is current member of the SASBA Tournament series and is former PBA member.

He is the owner/operator of Learn About Bowling Coaching Center & Pro Shop better known as "The LAB" in Georgetown, TX

2nd - 1993 Firecracker 10000 at Sam’s Town in Las Vegas besting Derwin Pitre in the semifinal match before succumbing to John Fine in the championship match where Fine managed to convert 2 difficult splits for the title.
1994 - member of winning ABC Team Challenge tournament in San Antonio, TX with teammate Robert Lawrence. Went on to compete at the International event in Reno finishing in 12th place.
Mid-1990’s Twice the high qualifying score in Texas Scratch tournaments at Astro Bowl in San Antonio, TX.High finish was 3rd losing to Brad Angelo in semi-final match.
1995 Austin Bowler of the Year
2006 First SASBA tournament averaged 240 and finished 3rd. Made numerous finals since joining but no wins yet (those guys are good!).
